Francis Kamba founded Chaleur Hoops in 2022, driven by a desire to share his passion for basketball with the community. Shortly after, he was given the opportunity to collaborate with the Bathurst Bears and Sweat Academy.

Since then, Francis has dedicated himself to developing accessible and inclusive basketball programs in the Chaleur region. His main goal is to help young athletes thrive, both on and off the court. Through his work with teams from the Côte Nord League to Moncton, he remains deeply committed to supporting the growth and success of the local community.
